These 7 ingredients energy balls are loaded with protein and healthy fat, perfect for breakfast on the go or a sweet treat!

These energy balls are no bake and easy! Perfect for a college student on the go and on a budget. Loaded with protein to keep you full all day in between classes and work.

The best thing about this recipe is that you can customize it to your taste. You can substitute in different nut butter, or dark chocolate chips instead of cacao powder, whatever your taste buds desire.
They are the perfect mix between a granola bar and a cookie it’s almost sinful they are healthy. Great way to curb your sweet tooth or to get a quick fix of energy when the mid-afternoon slump hits.

To make these protein energy balls you will need the following:
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats, dry
1/2 cup ground flax seed
2 tbsp. cacao powder
1/2 cup crunchy almond butter
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and combine into 1-inch balls.

Once the balls are formed, pop it in the fridge for 10–20 minutes to harden. Tip: Freeze balls to last longer and keep you from eating them all at once!
