Just an hour away from Bangkok travel the world famous Full Moon party. Just 30 minutes away the Samui ferry will drop you off at the main dock of Thong Sala or Haad Rin, depending on the time of day. You can never be tardy for this party. Boats go from Koh Samui to Haad Rin every hour. A lot of companies run overnight buses from Bangkok to Koh Phangan for 450–600 baht including the ferry as well.
