You might be surprised by the music that makes the list

Ahh, the 2010s, don’t we all already miss those simple times? It seems like only yesterday we lived in a world without COVID-19, Capitol breaches, or an ever-widening political divide.

Thankfully, though, we still have music retrospectives to remind us what’s truly important.

After all, music is the great connector. It brings us together, not requiring us to talk or even like each other to enjoy the same music. Remember those days when we could go to a concert or festival and just dance in a big crowd of people? Those were the days.

We can relive those days by taking a look back at the best albums of the 2010s. With the decade freshly behind us, we can start to understand what music has truly stood the test of time.

Although these ten albums are truly outstanding pieces of art, the shortness of the list did mean that many great albums released in the 2010s were left out. There were just too many.

Here are the best ten albums of the 2010s.

10. Surrender — Slow Dancer (2014)
