Just like you.

An ode to me and you and the rest.

Just like the universe,
We are all a little myth, a little science,
A little belief and a little lie.
A little rock, a little volatile.
A big ball of life lined with unmistakable fallacies
Set amidst a space too intimidating to explore.

Your beauty, on the surface, has a strong game,
But did you look elsewhere?
What is this immensity that brims you, makes you infinite
Why did you choose to only follow the finite?

With so little to show on the outside,
while such depth on the inside mouldering, unexplored.
It’s strange how we cannot make one from the other.
Perhaps, because we find ourselves in each other that we cannot see each other.
