i lived at the circus
and i slept with the clowns
but never was i embarrassed
until i saw you looking down
you are the archetype
you are Venus freed from stone
and when i saw you
i remembered
who i was before

and it’s so good
to hear you voice again
it’s so very good
to hear your voice again
because before
i was forlorn
and a whore
my friend

to be shattered and be whole
simultaneous is the goal
take my picture
with your broken lens
and i love it
when you buy me
king crab legs

and it’s so good
to hear you voice again
it’s so very good
to hear your voice again
because before
i was forlorn
and a whore
my friend
