Communicating in business: Does it affect work?

We cannot live without communication. We communicate everywhere, anytime because people have to express their feeling, manage their work, make connections and relationship with others through communication. Then, how effective communication will help in business? Effective communication is critical to any organization and can help it in many ways. In fact, it plays a role in product development, customer relations, employee management-virtually every facet of a business operations. Effective communications help to establish clear expectations for employees and for customers as well. For employees, clear expectations convey how their performance will impact the company and give them an indication of what they need to do to achieve positive feedback. For customers, it can help customers to manage their expectations about service issues or know about how to interact well with the organization.

As the employees have frequent meeting about their projects and try to communicate well between each other, trust and loyalty are boosted. It is focused on meeting individual needs, conveying important information and providing feedback,-positive and constructive.

Ideas and Innovation

Open channels of communication can led to new ideas and innovation. Employees that understand what is important to their companies can focus on making improvements and spotting opportunities for innovation that can help further success. Customers also can be a source of great ideas to help improve products and services.

As we see through newspaper, top 100 company of the world have their own method to success in their business. For example, people who work in google can suggest their idea to the boss whenever they want. People have different thoughts, and they have right to say their ideas to improve company. In my opinion, it is also related to college study. We have several group projects every week. Every members has different idea of project, if we suggest new idea of our project per person, we can have lots of option to develop our assignments. Before that, we should not afraid of saying our opinion to public. In my case, i always try to express my feeling and ideas to members to improve quality of our work. College life is mini version of society, we can learn social, academic life through doing projects, and meet people.
