It’s been four years since my son Jorah, was born. From the moment he entered my life, I have been writing email to his gmail account sending photos with captions capturing special thoughts, words, feelings — safekeeping the nuances that are normally lost as time passes by. Trips to the park, vacations, birthdays and the little moments of everyday captured memories.

Eventually, I wrote a small utility app for myself that would help me compose an email and send photos to my son in the format of a story. After some conversation with other parents, it became clear they would appreciate a service that would store private memories with their children.

Parents, we take a lot of photos of our kids, but all too often there isn’t really context associated with them and over time, some of the details of the experience are lost. Think of your own experience looking through old photo albums with your parents as they make every effort to recall the memories or stories around the photos including relatives and friends in the photos….

MemorieSunrise saves your memories in the form of photos and text, safely stored in a private location in the cloud. Your children and relatives will experience the memories in a vibrant a story format. In addition to parents, memories can be shared with grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. Keep all your family memories organized in one private place with Sunrise which is available today on the App Store.
