Weekly Supdate #13
Redefining Sup.
Sup Ducks! We just concluded the largest week in SupDuck’s history and we think it’s pretty important to recap it! This supdate goes further into detail on our ROADMAP and also features some details on the art for the WACKY DUCKS we previewed last week that came out on 4/20. Keep in mind our NEW WEBSITE dropped this week so anything in bold may be worth clicking if you get curious!

This is what a roadmap looks like when it licks a MEGATOAD. Franky is an artist so he painted a picture for us to dive into!
THE FIRST HALF (retrospective…we did this)
- July 17- SUPDUCKS are the beginning of the ecosystem. There are ten-thousand SupDucks on the blockchain and 3600 wallets providing homes for these ducks!
- August 26- We dropped an IOS App for SupDuck holders to interact with their photos and NFTs! We relaunched the app in 2022 to include KingFrogs!
- September 9- VOLT is the utility token to interact in the ecosystem. SupDuck holders earn 10 $VOLT a day to be claimed in their wallet.
- September 30- KINGFROGS were the first airdrop for SupDuck holders. Each SupDuck was able to claim a frog with traits and numbering that matched their SupDuck. There “were” ten-thousand KingFrogs with supduck traits as a gas only claim and then there “were” ten-thousand frogs with new traits available for public sale. It is important to highlight “were” as frogs are an important tool within the SupDuck eco that have consumable and burn mechanics.
- November 30- MEGATOADS were the first create your own NFT spawning from the SupDuck ecosystem. There were a total of one thousand toads that could be created by “mashing frogs”. This is where KingFrog feeding and volt/frog burning was first utilized.
- November 30- Melvin’s Snacks are the first edibles for the SupDuck ecosystem. You can buy snacks with $VOLT earned from holding a SupDuck and feed snacks to your KingFrog to change the metadata and animation of your companion nft! Three fed frogs were then able to be burned to create custom Megatoads, expanding on SupDucks utility and rewarding longtime holders of SupDucks with ability to passively and repetitively participate with the earned drops!
- Jan 17- Franky starts streaming “The Story of SupDuck!” which served as the layout and springboard for the preparation of the upcoming animated series! Since then we have been getting almost weekly updates including more sketches, storyboarding, and a sneak peek at some of the characters and table read! In addition, just last week we had multiple community members send in their voice audition for some of the honorary mint characters from the series!
- Feb 20- MegaVolt Records spawned from the team’s work on MegaMuzic at the Eth Denver Hackathon.
Since the launch we have put out 5 tracks and Snoop Dogg actually dropped one with Deathrow NFT. Each track is available for $VOLT (utility token earned daily by Supduck owners only) on launch and the future of volt utility and music ownership/creation is just getting started around the MegaVolt Boardwalk. In the past two weeks we have also seen the spawn of MegaVolt Radio. Waking Sup is every week day with B-Love 8am Pacific in the DISCORD.
- March 10- The HQ was renovated to give a more professional studio look while also combining the Boardwalk and LA art/vibes with some sick collabs and of course more Franky drawing on walls! If you ever stop by or check out the streams you may notice some of our new partnerships. In addition to weekly streams on the SupDucks Youtube Channel, we are seeing multiple facets of creativity incubated there.
- March 30- OFF CHAIN LA was the first of many events to be hosted at the SupDucks HQ. We want to continue to highlight this event and the partners from other communities! SupDucks and the MegaVolt incubator are constantly working with other communities and projects as we build out the MegaVerse and see the reach of the talent and personalities. If you were around during the first couple weeks of SupDucks you will remember “The real floor is the friends we make along the way” (click that link I dare you.)
- April 20- Wacky Ducks are the next level of utility that will start a loop for collecting the future rewards and drops coming out of the SupDuck ecosystem. The process is quite easy: if holders own a SupDuck, $VOLT, and a MegaToad (if you stuck around this long your SupDuck has basically generated that for you, if not you can see the links above how to acquire) they go to this site and WACK the duck. This adds animated traits to your SupDuck within the metadata! Once your duck starts trippin it is still part of the same collection and now you are qualified for a visit from the upcoming jungle duck god. This mechanism is set up to “un-wack” your duck upon airdrop and requires the owners to “re-wack” using the same system to be eligible for the next drop! Franky said we had to break the ducks to fix them…well here ya go, we got a loop…THEY ARE WHACKED.
The Second half (Forward Thinking…)
It was important to highlight the 4/20 duck loop created by Wacky Ducks because that allows us to look at the second part of this roadmap with anticipation! Will the DuckGod bring Duckettes or King Birds? Will toad licking play into toad fighting? What about the frogs do they have future utility? What is Volt 2.0? What is the MEGAVERSE? Where is the cartoon going to air? What on earth would SupDucks do with ai? These are the questions we all want to know, and fortunately for us there is a team working behind it! If you have been around the boardwalk you got this down, if you are new we are so happy to have you along because SupDucks is just getting started!
The future is bright for SupDucks and we are pretty excited to keep on sup’in with the community both old and new! Suptrains will be coming back in full force and I am about to kick the snot out of my discord commands (!limp)
