The multiplayer online racing simulation, iRacing, has taken both the racing and gaming community by storm. You cannot turn on the television without finding some reference to it from live virtual races being broadcast on sports channels to sitcoms such as Netflix’s The Crew featuring it on its show. The simulation is so accurate NASCAR drivers are using it to prepare for official races.
In this article, I wanted to present to you some keys to success that can make anyone a better iRacing driver. I have been playing iRacing for just over a year and consider myself an amateur. I have had moderate success in iRacing with a plethora of top 3, 5, and 10 finishes. Oval type races are typically my go-to race type due to my following of NASCAR and that’s what we will focus on here. So, without further ado, let’s get started.
