Call of Duty has been a household franchise for many gamers ever since its first days on the base Xbox and PS2 console systems. Its growth continues year after the year as the franchise continues to attract a growing player base across its growing catalog of titles and sequels.

For years now, Activision-Blizzard has piloted the ever-growing Call of Duty franchise at a breakneck-pace, releasing a new version of the game each year through several different design studios: Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games, Infinity Ward, and Treyarch. But Warzone, as frustrating as it is at the moment in its current state, seems to be creating an inflection point in this trend.

Shared progression and a meaningful Battle Pass that values the time I put into the game makes Call of Duty an attractive option to boot up on any given day.

Progression, no matter which title I’m playing
