There’s no denying a lot of hype surrounding the latest Resident Evil game revolves around the nine-foot-six tall woman, Lady Dimitrescu. Even Capcom, the game developers, seem to have an awareness of this. Their US site homepage currently features an oversized image of the beloved vampire lady herself. No other photos of Resident Evil: Village appear on the homepage. It’s all about the “tall vampire lady,” as she’s been dubbed by fans.

But for gamers around the world, Lady Dimitrescu is more than just in-game eye candy. Fans have taken their love for the tallest lady to the next level, creating memes and Rule 34 fan art to the point that it was actually easier to find NSFW art of her on Amazon than the actual game, according to CBR.

It’s been strange, as a tall woman myself, to hear every gamer I know gush about their attraction to a nearly ten-foot-tall vampire woman. Even men I know who don’t play video games are somehow aware of Lady Dimitrescu and find her attractive.
