On December 6th, The Game Awards happened and then, within minutes of it ending, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released. We usually try to hype up a diversity of topics in these blurbs, but this episode is pretty much just about those two things. How has the competitive scene been reacting toward the new Smash? Is The Game Awards an optimal way for the games industry to show itself off? How was that Joker announcement?
