More than 7 months after initially revealing the Xbox Series X, Microsoft is finally giving the gaming public a look at real gameplay for its next-gen titles. The gaming giant had a bit of a misstep back in early May, when they held a live-stream which they claimed would be a gameplay reveal. It turned out to be just cinematic trailers with almost no actual footage of the games being played at all, and was comprised of just 3rd party titles. Fans were disappointed to say the least.

Today’s event had a ton of reveals, but despite their claims to be really showing the games in action this time, there didn’t seem to be much gameplay involved. Most stuff looked pretty, and they revealed a lot, including most of the heavy-hitters people were hoping for, but I’m just not sure how the event will play with the hardcore fans. We will cover each game that was shown here, and at the end we will briefly cover the games that were introduced during the hour-long preview event ahead of the big show.

Now there’s a metric ton to cover, so we’re hopping right in, with everything in the order it was shown!
