How space shooter Phoenix 2 is perfect for gamers with limited time to game

Phoenix 2 by Firi Games is a “bullet-hell” space shooter that lives up to the best examples of the genre. The rules are simple: don’t get hit by enemy bullets and kill invaders. Easier said than done!

Phoenix 2 is available on the Apple App Store and has been featured as Game of the Day. With the launch of iOS 14, the game is even available as an App Clip (meaning you can try the game without downloading it).

Firi Games is an independent game studio based in The Hague, Netherlands. It was founded in 2009 by El Drijver and Tijmen Roberti. They have a small team of less than ten full-time employees, but that doesn't stop their games from packing a major punch. Phoenix 2 is no exception. The gameplay is smooth, and the graphics are exceptional. Each mission is a thrill ride.

Phoenix 2 can quench the thirst of the avid gamer who has to navigate more responsibilities and less free time to game. For a quick rush, the game can be played for as little as two minutes. However, the levels are challenging, and I rarely beat them on the first try, so I often play longer.
