In 2011, a YouTube channel by the name of Pirhanasolider began uploading fan-made versions of Mortal Kombat 9 fatalities. These fatalities were gruesome and over the top; showcasing what NetherRealm Studios would do in future Mortal Kombat installments. These gory finishers drew fans of Mortal Kombat, and they wanted to know: who is Pirhanasolider? Fans soon got their answer. Pirhanasolider is part of a company named Necrostorm who is going to tackle their most ambitious project yet:

A ‘90s-inspired 2.5D fighter named Death Cargo.

Who is Necrostorm?

Necrostorm is a movie, comic, and music company based in Italy. They’re well known for their gore films which take inspiration from ‘80s slashers. They released films such as Adam Chaplin, about a man who summoned a demon after his wife was murdered by a mob boss, and Hotel Inferno about assassin Frank Zimosa who’s task to take out a couple in a hotel. To this day they continue making gory action-packed films, leaving you unable to blink. After many films, they tackled video games, and what better genre to start with than a gory horror-fighter?
