The Sony consoles have sure come a long way since their early days. With the PlayStation 4 going way beyond the 100 million sales mark and the first figures for the PS5 looking extremely positive, the present and future remain bright for the Japanese gaming giant.
And this is all thanks to the dedicated audience that Sony has been able to steadily establish throughout the years. Their relationship with the paying customers has been one of trust and an expectation of quality, as their gaming products — both hardware and software — have an unrivaled reputation. As a matter of fact, Sony’s PC and mobile manufacturing divisions have taken a serious hit in recent years, yet thanks to how well they’ve been performing in the gaming market, that hasn’t even put a dent in their overall year-to-year revenue. If that’s not impressive, I don’t know what is.
