Elevator pitch: Super Teams helps startup leaders create and scale a high performing team. To achieve good growth … where teams enjoy what they do, deliver great work and the business is set up to thrive.

Today was a day of exploration. Getting to see where ⬇️ little guy lives.

Things that got done:

Went down a rabbit hole on Product Hunt when I found all the No-code resources. This one in particular has links to everything you’d need to build and launch a product.

Created a long list of 17 monetisation ideas for Super Teams. Shortlisted 5. Beginning work on the first one tomorrow (see ‘things to come’ below).

Wrestled with lots of competing ideas and got distracted. Damn rabbit hole. Went back to my Todoist list to refocus. Cut out a bunch of ‘busy’ tasks to leave only the stuff that will nudge the needle. Felt good having done so.

Had a mini breakthrough … if I define the building blocks of a high performing team (e.g. shared vision, great communication, effective feedback) they I can create a coherent group of products that meet a need for each block. This will help to prioritise what’s in/out of scope and help me decide what I should spend time on.

Things to come:

Resolved to use the no code resources to build a product for Super Teams.

Decided to use a filter for my initial monetisation efforts — I must be able to launch it on Product Hunt.

Speaking of Product Hunt, I’ll be spending more time there seeing what products are gaining traction and how they’re doing it. All good learning for our launches.

Before building product, need to codify the attributes of high performing teams.

First shortlisted product idea … a web tool for startup leaders to document and analyse team performance. Will likely overlay some analytics capability to show how high(er) performance can be achieved.
