These are my contributions for January 2022

February was another great month for coding. I managed to get Portfolio Manager to Alpha, the P2P network also reaches Alpha, and I developed a new type of bot: the Study Bot. I also did a fair amount of videos for the project’s YouTube Channel, including a few interviews explaining the project in detail (some unreleased yet).

Study Bot

A study bot is like an Indicator bot but much more powerful. An Indicator Bot transform one or more datasets into output datasets. But an Indicator bot is constrained to use as an input datasets of the same market and same chart.

Trading Bots on the other hand can see any chart or any market of any exchange, by using the chart, market and exchange data structures at user code at conditions and formulas.

Study Bot can use anything an Indicator Bot AND a Trading Bot use as input at the same time. This allow Data Miners to combine information from many charts or from many markets or from many exchanges into a Study.

Studies can then be consumed by Trading Bots strategies.

Conclusion

February was a great month. In March I will be focusing myself more on trading strategies for the Bitcoin Factory and adding features for the platform that are needed in there. I will also be supporting other developers going through different paths.
