Bitcoin Factory Software Maintenance and Improvements

This month’s work was around the maintenance of the different modules belonging to the Bitcoin Factory project:

• Test Client
• Forecaster
• Test Server
• Network Node

Many bugs have been fixed and the operation of the system was completely moved to the community. In other words, I stopped running some of these software by myself and I handed them over to different members of the Superalgos community that wanted to run them.

The are 2 improvements worth mentioning:

1. The Test Server was upgraded in order to be able to run more than one instance of it at the same time. This will allow us to avoid the Test Server being a bottle neck.
2. The Network Node now implements a query for retrieving statistics, which will allow us to build a dashboard were we will be able to monitor what is going on through a Network Node, since all the other pieces of software talk between each other through it.
