Running at Full Speed
Getting a team formed has helped massively this month, throwing ideas around and working together on icons has enabled us to churn out a huge pile of them this month.
At the start of the month we welcomed End Debug to the team and helped him understand how adobe illustrator is used to create the desired design effects required for seamless integration.
We have contributed to the following projects:
- Governance
- Social Trading
- Workspaces
- Foundations
- Portfolio Management
- Trading Signals
- Visual Scripting
- Network
- Open Storage
A whopping 75 icons have been created and contributed to the projects.
Improved Workflow
Teehanming Delivers
Assigning, checking and approving icons from contributors was an issue as the spreadsheet system just wasn’t capable of it. Teehanming has setup the Github workflow so we can pickup issues, assign icon creation to other team members, review work in progress and approve icons for submitting. This system will be beneficial as the team grows and more users begin to contribute.
Icons may require multiple revisions before they are approved and can only be approved by one of the team leaders. DJ05GaZ has been the gatekeeper for icon approval this month keeping a keen eye on design styles and making sure all icons meet the required criteria and pass design style’s and colours.
