The SA Network just got more powerful!
Since I am always interested in AI/ML, I naturally joined the ML channel of Superalgos Telegram and started running test clients to contribute … even if I don’t yet grasp the full picture.
On this journey, I got pretty bored at having to monitor my setup all the time to watch for network node outage (due to non static IP, inability to connect to a specific node, …).
I think theblockchainarborist was also at the same time so he contributed a fix enabling connection to a P2P network node from a specific user.
I started running a node and a test server as I had an available cloud instance with static IP and followed closely this contribution.
The core team members challenged the implementation in regards of Superalgos code architecture.
That’s when I came up with this updated implementation by creating a new node called P2P Network Node Reference. This node is located at the P2P Network Client (at which you should remove the previous config key “onlyConnectToNetworkNodeFromUserProfile”). It permits the reference to a user profile specific node (after adding the user profile plugin to your workspace).
This addition benefits all Superalgos and not only the ML project as long as the full P2P Network implementation is not ready.
