Pokereum Decentralized Poker Demo UX Feedback, before Mental Poker Release (SUP Bonus incentive inside).
Introduction
We have released our Pokereum Decentralized Poker UX Demo here: [Play now] and we need some community feedback for eventual Shadow Poker ( Mental Poker version ) release on the Ethereum test network within a few weeks. The short feedback consensus will help us immensely in narrowing down visual options, for information architecture presentation, in order to address customer needs as it relates to provable fairness. As veterans of the blockchain space [early 2010–2014] and early Ethereum platform pioneers, our task is unprecedented in bringing trustless decentralized poker viability, speed, usability and technical soundness to addressing the global problems associated with centralized online poker playing platforms. And as the first solution on the Ethereum platform using smart contracts as a solution, we hope to bring to users the best user experience possible in addition to confidence in live stable cryptocurrency values, with the nearness of the DAI stablecoin release, which we will be integrating into our platform.
Technology and Shadow Poker Testnet Release
Pokereum has undergone many pauses, changes in technology and as well as branding. We are now confident that with the maturity of whisper api and LES light client and geth maturity we are poised to incrementally deliver according to our new road map. We have fully migrated from a telehash based messaging system, and are painfully waiting on maturity of the whisper v5 protocol. We are now in the final stages of whisper based integration and deployment to the Ethereum test network along with our mental poker solution branded Shadow Poker in a few weeks.
UX Feedback
Over the coming weeks we are going to be involving more community feedback on how to present important information as it pertains to our market solution using provably fairness. The technical benefits need to be communicated seamlessly, with as little technical overhead as possible to inspire confidence in seasoned mainstream poker players. The menu areas and right panes are going to be undergoing serious iterative design and will need input from community as we progress. The “chat” area is pretty much comparable to any chat software on the market, so it will not change much.
