Announcing Superfluid Prizes for ETHBogota 2022

First and foremost, a huge thank you to everyone that built on Superfluid during ETHBogota 2022 🎉

With tons of great project submissions to choose from, you certainly didn’t make it easy for us…

However, our judges have finished their evaluations and the results are in: the projects that won our bounties for ETHBogota 2022 are The Billion Dollar Homepage, Superseed, Purum, Z-Tower, L3ND, and POAY!

🥇 Best Overall Project Built on Superfluid: The Billion Dollar Homepage ($3,000)

The Billion Dollar Homepage enables Protocols, DAOs, and individuals to appeal to the web3 community and support public goods at the same time. Donation size is determined by Harberger Taxes with proceeds going directly to Gitcoin. Users can buy a canvas of their choice which triggers a Superfluid stream to Gitcoin, thereby paying your taxes every second.

📊 Best DeFi Project Built on Superfluid: Superseed ($2,000)

Superseed is a simple dollar-cost-averaging dApp that uses Superfluid for automation, and leverages community impact to supercharge your passive DeFi investing. Superseed puts your capital to work, generating yield as your funds await transfer and enables profit-sharing options for public goods.

🚀 Most Innovative Superfluid Project: Purum and Z-Tower ($2,000 split evenly)

Purum ($1,000)

Purum enables landowners to pledge their lands for restoration initiatives. Initiatives are represented by dynamic geo-referenced NFTs that update their ecological state weekly.

Additionally, Purum estimates how much CO2 will be stored by the land and issues a native Super Token that then gets streamed to the NFT owner at the same rate CO2 is stored. Purum aims to make it easier and financially feasible for any landowner to get started regenerating their land.

Z-Tower ($1,000)

Z-Tower is a metaverse that contributes to education by generating a student scholarship fund. Currently, education in many Latin American countries are conditioned by social, cultural and mainly economic factors, causing inequality in access to education. Z-Tower’s metaverse raises funds to create a student scholarship program. When someone buys a Z-Tower NFT, 50% of the value of the NFT goes to staking for project development and 50% goes to a pool that, when filled, distributes tokens via Superfluid Instant Distribution to previously selected winners.

🖼 Best Use of Superfluid & NFTs: L3ND and POAY ($2,000 split evenly)

L3ND ($1,000)

L3ND is building a P2P micro-credit platform where users can leverage their retail NFTs as collateral. Borrowers can offer up their NFTs as collateral in turn for credit, which they can then pay interest on with a Superfluid stream.

POAY is a subscription payment program designed to support ReFi for Community Conservation in LATAM. Users can subscribe to get access to eco-cultural experiences with Superfluid streams and get minted NFTs to reflect their participation in the POAY ReFi mission.
