In September we publicly unveiled Superfluid, along with Goerli deployment, SDK and related documentation. Many developers have worked on our code, and we have strived to release more documentation and learning material.

A few weeks ago we published 5000DAI in bounties on Gitcoin for the best apps built on Superfluid. The response has been amazing, and we are very excited to share the community submissions publicly.

We will be announcing the winners later this week! #StayTuned✌️

The list of hacks below is in alphabetical order to avoid any bias.

Creaton

Creaton is a decentralized content sharing platform. Creaton allows a streaming based subscription system where subscribers support their favorite creators with stablecoins in real-time. Utilizing a p2p encryption system powered by Textile and IPFS, Creaton eliminates the need for unnecessary middlemen or centralized services, while ensuring encrypted content is only available to subscribers.

"The biggest reason we have chosen Superfluid is because subscription are open-ended. As long as the streamer has enough of the (wrapped) token in their wallet, the stream will go on, potentially forever! Without this we wouldn't be able to create our dApp as there is no other solution our there and monthly subscriptions don't exist on Ethereum!"- @aer0xander

Dueth

P2P Data-Science analysis with no middlemen. Data scientists connect to the data through PySyft, performing data anlysys without ever having access to the data. Sessions occur through a Jitsi call, and every second of it is paid, thanks to a Superfluid Stream.

"My experience hacking with Superfluid was very smooth. Smart contracts are pretty well designed that allows you to create custom programmable agreements for real-time money streaming services. People/Orgs will now be able to hire P2P consultancy services with experts without the need of intermediaries, upfront payments and those long-time waitings for their money to arrive in their accounts."- @santteegt

Emanator

Distribute copies of an NFT through a continuous auction. You win by having the highest bid for a set period of time. Once an auction is finished, users settle it, distributing profits seamlessly to the NFT creator as well as previous winners, through a Superfluid Instant Distribution Agreement.

"Superfluid enables the same type of creativity and optimism you had when you first learned Solidity. It cuts down the amount of things you "can't do" and replaces them with simple solutions. Not to mention it can be just as powerful using the SDK without needing to write any Solidity at all."- @pi0neerpat

LiquidBusary

Apply for a bursary through an on-chain smart contract. Funds are transferred from the financer to the applicant in a Superfluid stream over the course of the bursary’s duration.

"I loved the challenges I faced whilst developing my silly SuperDapp, for the most part. I would have appreciated having the contracts for the protocol available to run locally rather than having to interact with them on Goerli. [...] Still, alas this is a cool protocol and cant wait to see it grow and improve, or also one last thing the documentation needs to improve as well but taking into consideration how new the protocol is this wasn't so much of a biggie because of the code examples where available."- @brianspha

Outpost Protocol

A subscription protocol powered by Superfluid, rewarding active social token holders. Subscribe to content for exactly as long as you want — free to cancel at any time. Streams are denominated in the creator’s social token. The creator can then distribute rewards to registered holders through an Instant Distribution Agreement.

"Superfluid solves two big problems for Outpost. First it allows for more traditional subscriptions with money streaming. Second, their instant distribution agreement allows us to efficiently reward community members at scale."- @smhtm

ReNFT

P2P NFT renting powered by Superfluid Streams! NFT owners publish their NFTs for rent. Users rent NFTs by sending a stream and leaving collateral. The rental stream is itself also bundled into an NFT, allowing the original owner to sell it to someone else. This decouples the utility of the original NFT with the cashflow it generates, allowing both to be traded separately.

"Superfluid opens up a world of features that weren't possible before. For Rent NFT it would allow trading the borrower-to-lender cash flows. Moreover, the transfer of the cash flow, would automatically redirect the stream to the new owner. We are very excited about so many more things that Superfluid enables."- @nazaryv

Superfluid Marketing Campaigns

A publisher creates campaigns with defined payouts for engagement. Marketers can browse through active campaigns, sign up, and engage with content. The app calculates payouts based on engagement. By using a Superfluid Instant Distribution Agreement, payments are sent out periodically in a seamless way to all marketers participating in the campaign.

"Working with superfluid framework was a great experience since the docs and examples are clear and concise and the API work exactly as advertised. The flow and instant distribution APIs cover a wide variety of wallet to wallet distribution scenarios and make it possible to create disruptive money streaming applications in pretty much every domain."- @pRoy24
