After spending more than 16 years in the fund management industry, I have observed that nothing much has changed in this space. There remains a lack of transparency, costs are high and assets are illiquid.
An Industry Set for Disruption
As we see more industries being disrupted with the advent of new technology, especially blockchain, I have often mulled over this question — if the asset management and venture capital space were to be disrupted, what would it look like? This thought was the catalyst that led me and my team to give birth to what is SuperNode Community (SNC), a decentralized venture capital ecosystem.
SNC’s Vision
SNC’s vision is to democratize venture capital by building a decentralized, transparent, and robust ecosystem for the startup community. Our mission is to be the first stop and gateway for blockchain startups to access funding.
As a prospering generation, we are here to build a better society, economy, and future, not just to beget more profits. SNC was born out of this passion to see a decentralized future realized. This future will come to fruition when we have achieved mass adoption of blockchain. For this to take place, good, innovative startups — the main contributors to this rapid adoption — need all the fuel they can get to power their acceleration and growth.
When promising startups get the support they need for them to take off, industries are transformed. This leads to greater societal efficiency and improved lives.

For this vision to be realized, we need as much support as we can get, starting with you, the Community. As the name of this project suggests, the Community is central to the growth of this ecosystem. Out of our Community, SuperNodes will be elected to represent the Community, who will then go on to vet and vote for the blockchain projects who will eventually be incubated.
