We founded Pixura in the early months of 2018 with the goal of making it easy for creators and entrepreneurs to benefit from digital scarcity by tokenizing unique items on the blockchain.
We launched SuperRare in April, and it’s been phenomenally exciting watching the CryptoArt community grow so fast over the past few months! Almost 2,000 transactions have gone through our smart contract, over 600 digital artworks have been created, and over 40 ETH has been earned by artists.
Additionally, we’ve completed the first release of our API & toolkit that makes it easy for anyone to build a marketplace for tokenized assets on Ethereum.
Needless to say, it’s been a busy and exciting year for us three founders, and we’ve been increasingly wearing many hats: engineering, product, support, marketing, talking to users, fundraising, and hiring.
Thus, we’re incredibly excited to announce our newest member! Zack Yanger is our new head of marketing & content, and has already been bringing an atom bomb of fresh energy to promoting, growing and supporting the SuperRare community of digital creators and collectors.
Zack has a strong creative background, having spent recent years directing and producing film and video content for a broad roster of global clients.
We’re happy to have his contagious enthusiasm on board as we continue to grow SuperRare and build Pixura into a platform supporting many more token-based marketplaces.
Our goal is to have multiple projects building on Pixura by the end of the year — if you are a developer or entrepreneur interested in building a non-fungible token marketplace or dapp, get in touch for early API access.
