We’ve got some exciting updates to share with you today. There’s both news and great news.
News: The reopening of the Grand Prix (the cross-server competition with incentives) will be postponed again to allow for a fundamental change in the Sidekick Race’s structure.
Great news: Instead of the Grand Prix, we’ll be running a Community Airdrop Campaign for an entire month, starting on October 10. It will feature a larger prize pool and more winners than the Sidekick Grand Prix.
Previously at the Sidekick Race…
After the August season of the Grand Prix concluded, we decided to pause the Grand Prix for a month for a revamp. However, upon closer examination, we concluded that we cannot simply fix it with the originally conceived race format.
Instead, to create a more enjoyable content that encourages broader participation, we have planned an update that will fundamentally shift the structure towards team-based competitions. Until then, the Sidekick Race in the game will continue as is, just without the Grand Prix prizes.
What’s Going On?
A lot is happening, and there’s something for every kind of player! Starting October 10, you can expect:
- Exclusive benefits for players who have purchased anything in-game or from the web shop (snapshot will be taken on October 9).
- Rewards based on your play status and achievements.
- Airdrop events organized by moderators and communities such as gaming guilds.
- Daily rewards for all players, with special benefits for those who don’t miss a day.

What’s the Size?
The Community Airdrop Campaign will have a prize pool of APT worth $15,000 USD — double the amount of the current Sidekick Race Grand Prix monthly prize pool. A bigger pool means more players will benefit from the Airdrop Event!
Kudos to Kana Labs
Thanks to our partnership with Kana Labs, we’ve set up a reward distribution system that makes it easier to incentivize our users. This system, going live on September 30, will allow us to include more players in our rewards.
In short, it will make running airdrop campaigns much easier! We’re looking forward to seeing the Kana Labs Reward System in action.
