Hope you’re all doing well and also getting excited about the Sidekick Crew Rivals.
In this article, we’d like to explain more about the system and how the game works.
We know that gamers are usually smart enough to figure things out on their own, even without tutorials (I admit, I always try to skip tutorials if I can) — so we’re confident you’ll pick up the game right away once you dive in.
That said, this article serves as a handy reference for you to return to if you have any questions.
So let’s start!
(Once Again) What are the Sidekick Crew Rivals?
In short, it’s the group competition edition of the Sidekick Race — join one of the four Crews and lead your Crew to victory! Great prizes are waiting. No Sidekicks in Inventory? No problem at all! You can use our Baby Sidekicks that fill up your Squad by default.

Stage I: DAILY RACE (2 weeks)

The trick: Run DAILY RACE → Set Best Records → Climb up the leaderboard in your Crew
1. Form your Squad
- Pick your best Sidekicks to create the ultimate Squad.
- Sidekicks have different speeds according to their rarity grades.
- You don’t need to withdraw your Sidekicks from Supervillain Wanted. They exist in separate dimensions. ;)
- If you don’t have enough Sidekicks in your Inventory, you can also fill your Squad with default Baby Sidekicks. However, regular Sidekicks will have better performance.
- The ‘main runner’ is the one who represents your Squad visually in the race.
- Please note: Your records will be reset if you change the composition of your Squad. This is to prevent reusing the same Sidekick in multiple accounts.
2. Change Crew
- By using the Change Crew feature, you can check your performance status: find out in which Crew you would get the biggest rewards.
- During the 2-week DAILY RACE Period, you can freely move between Crews and explore different Crews.
3. DAILY RACE
- Participate in the DAILY RACE to set new records. Your best record determines your rank within your Crew, which is directly tied to your final rewards in the GRAND RACE.
- In case more than 2 Squads in the same Crew have the same Best Record, they will be sorted according to Race Power.
- Running every day in the DAILY RACE will give you 1 Squad Booster item daily.
4. Use Boosters
- Use Boosters to power up your Squad and set better records.
- How exactly they work will be explained later.😉
Stage II: GRAND RACE
Wen: December 21 (Sat), 5:00AM UTC
- 20 Squads in each Crew will run in a relay race.
- The Crews’ final ranks are determined by who reaches the finish line first.
- The Race will be livestreamed on SVL Official Youtube(https://www.youtube.com/@supervlabs).
- The results of the GRAND RACE will be posted on the SVL Community Board.
What Are the Stats?
1. Base Speed
- Represents how fast a Sidekick can run.
- Sidekicks have different Base Speed according to their rarity grade — the higher, the faster.
Legendary: 25
Epic: 22
Rare: 20
Uncommon: 18
Common: 17
Baby:15
- Since there are 4 Sidekicks in a Squad, the Squad Base Speed can range from minimum 60 to maximum 100.
2. Squad Boosters and Boost Chance
1) What is it?
- Using Squad Booster items increases the Boost Chance of the Squad.
- The increased Boost belongs to the Squad, so it does not reset even if you move to another Crew, or change the composition of your Squad..
- It lasts until the GRAND RACE is over, and will be reset in the next round of Sidekick Crew Rivals.
2) What happens?
- 1 Booster increases the Boost Chance by 5%p.
- If Boost is activated, the Sidekick’s speed will increase twofold for a certain distance.
3) How many can be used?
- Please note that the Squad Booster items are bound to the account and cannot be transferred to a different account.
4) Where can I obtain Squad Boosters?
- When you first join a Crew
- Every day by running in the DAILY RACE
- By sharing your Squad info on social media
- and more!
3. Race Power
- A number that indicates the overall competitiveness of a Squad/Crew.
- Race Power = Base Speed + norm(Boost Chance)x2/100
- Please note that the Race Power is not an absolute indicator whether the Squad will win the race or not, because there are elements that add some randomness to the results.

Tl;dr — How to Be Successful in the Crew Rivals
Focus on Daily Performance
- Consistently work on improving your Best Record during the DAILY RACE period.
- Your ranking within your Crew is directly tied to your final rewards as the result of the GRAND RACE.
Select Your Crew Strategically
- Your success in Crew Rivals depends both on your Crew’s overall performance and on your relative position in the Crew as an individual Squad.
- It’s good to stay loyal to a Crew but also consider changing Crews to maximize your yield — choose wisely!
Collect Squad Boosters to maximize Performance
- Squad Booster items increase the chance to activate a boost during the race, which significantly improves the performance.
- You can receive Boosters by participating in DAILY RACEs and other events.
