Header Dropdown Notifications
We want to start doing blog posts for all the development that is happening at Supload. We’ve got a lot of updates coming in the near future and we want to keep our users updated.
We’re excited to launch a notification dropdown in the header of the website today. We think this feature will go a long way in helping the interaction between our users and help grow our community.
As new notifications happen while you’re browsing the site, the notification icon in the header will update with the total of unread notifications. The types of notifications you will be alerted to are
- You gain a new follower
- One of your posts gets upvoted
- A comment gets left in one of your posts
- Your username gets tagged in a title of a post or in a comment
One aspect that we’re most excited about with this feature is the forthcoming tipping feature we have on our future roadmap. Letting our content creators know when another user has left them a tip because they appreciate their work will be an integral part of Supload. Those tips will then be able to be withdrawn from the site in the form of Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin, or our own Supload token.
