The journal article is titled “Designing and delivering public engagement activities together with patient partners: The experience of Public Conference on Cancer”.

The Public Interest Group on Cancer Research has published an article about the lessons learned, perspectives and experiences gained, and personal impact experienced as a result of organizing and delivering the Public Conference on Cancer.

This public event was held on October 15, 2022 and aimed to exchange knowledge on cancer lived experiences, cancer care, and importance of partnering with patients and family members.

The Public Interest Group is excited to share their insights globally and in both public and scholarly environments.

You can freely access their manuscript here.

A lay summary of the manuscript can be found in this article.
