SXSoccer Meetup + Minnesota vs Atlanta MLS in Austin Watch Party
Join us at Fadó in downtown Austin on Sunday, March 12th at 4:00pm for a very special MLS in Austin meetup.
- First, with so many soccer fans traveling to Austin for SXSW, we wanted to create an event to connect fans from all over the world with fans from right here in Austin.
- Second, it’s a great opportunity to help communicate our message and our passion for a professional soccer team to a wider audience outside of Austin
- Third, we love making new friends with soccer supporters both local and visiting
- Forth: Coincidently, while we make our plans for an expansion team in Austin, MLS’ two newest expansion teams meet each other for the first time during SXSW. Minnesota United FC hosts Atlanta United FC at 4pm. This seemed like a great event to host a watch party around
- And last, but not least: We’re keeping our promise to our members to create more opportunities to get together until we have lots of opportunites to see each other in the stands
The MLSinATX team will be there answering questions and sharing stories and updates. Hopefully we’ll get a few special guests to drop by and chat as well.
SXSW travelers: If you are visiting Austin, Fadó is a short walk from the convention center and downtown hotels on 4th street between Colorado and Lavaca. Stop by; watch some soccer with us. Get to know the local supporters of MLS in Austin as well as our many other local supporters groups.
Locals and members: This is a great opportunity to show the kind of soccer town Austin is and a chance to practice our MLS away game watch party skills.
