We are excited to announce our NBA Websocket API is now live. Like our NFL API, it is built using the Lightning Network on the Bitcoin protocol.

It is currently available for free on testnet so people can play around test their apps and ideas.

Simply connect to our Suredbits Lightning Node at:

Enter the NBA websocket address:

And begin querying and streaming the data you want. Like Kevin Durant’s player profile:

Full NBA API documentation can be found here: NBA API.

As with our NFL API, you can stream as much or as little as you like. You can fully customize your data feed with our four main channels:

  • Games
  • Players
  • Teams
  • Stats

We are excited to bring this to technology and data to people as we continue to build out the cryptodata and the Lightning Network community. We would love for you to join our Suredbits community and share your thoughts and feedback or just kick ideas around.

You can find us on Twitter @Suredbits or join our Suredbits Slack community.
