Margaret River Pro has just finished and The Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach is about to begin. Everyone was stoked by the performance of John John Florence, the surfer has started the year with amazing stats.

The unpredictable happened, we saw huge upsets at Margaret River. The super 8 had made 933 points on the first event and 908 on the second. That gives a sum of 1,841 points. Even cheating we are 50 points behind m00se16, who made 1,891 points so far and is the #1.

Let's see who are the super 8 for Bells Beach. Will they now brake the 1000 points mark?

Jordy Smith — $11,000,000

  • Event Average Score: 15.99
  • Event Winning Percentage: 62.96%
  • FS average points: 137

Jordy has the best combination of Stats in Bells Beach and year momentum. The surfer has the second best Event Average Score. Has advanced to rd4 since 2012 and surfed the final last year against Wilko.

Adriano de Souza — $8,250,000

  • Event Average Score: 14.7
  • Event Winning Percentage: 65.38%
  • FS average points: 146

De Souza has not the best Average Score of the venue, but has an incredibly high winning percentage (loses only to Mick). The surfer is a great competitor. Adriano has two finals over the last five years and has only lost once on rd3 during that time.

John John Florence — $12,500,000

  • Event Average Score: 14.33
  • Event Winning Percentage: 57.14%
  • FS average points: 104

JJF has not the best venue stats, but the surfer leads all numbers of the 2017 season. No one could ever imagine the he could upgrade the stats of the 2016 season. The surfer won 10 out of the 11 heats surfed. Everyone wants to see what JJF will bring to Bells.

Mick Fanning — $4,500,000

  • Event Average Score: 15.89
  • Event Winning Percentage: 80.65%
  • FS average points: 205

Fanning has an amazing winning percentage, that number is unbelievable. He won Bells three times over the last five years. Even though Mick has not won rd3 this year, no one will let him out of the picks, specially at this price. If Mick had a better season start, he would definitely be at first.

Matt Wilkinson — $9,750,000

  • Event Average Score: 12.67
  • Event Winning Percentage: 52.94%
  • FS average points: 104

The defending champion at Bells has had a great season start. For sure it is nothing compared to 2016, when the surfer won the first two events of the season. Wilko is improving his numbers, will he win again at Bells?

Kelly Slater — $9,000,000

  • Event Average Score: 14.92
  • Event Winning Percentage: 60%
  • FS average points: 113

Kelly and Joel have great stats at almost all venues. We might see them a lot at the super 8. All numbers of Kelly are above average and that regularity guarantees him here.

Joel Parkinson — $8,000,000

  • Event Average Score: 15.33
  • Event Winning Percentage: 64.71%
  • FS average points: 110

The third best Average Heat Score and Fourth best Winning Percentage are the numbers that together bring Joel to the super 8.

Gabriel Medina — $10,500,000

  • Event Average Score: 12.68
  • Event Winning Percentage: 47.06%
  • FS average points: 93

The last surfer of the super 8 was really close from losing his spot to Felipe Toledo. Momentum is a key variable and Medina has just lost on rd2 at Margaret River. However the overall stats of Medina are just amazing, he has one of the best winning percentages of 2017 and the second best over the last 5 years. Those numbers were important to untie the battle and guarantee him here again.

The super 8 total cost: $73,500,000

We are proud that the super 8 picks have made 1,841 points so far. We know that we are cheating, but the result shows we are on the right track. The Australian leg was really intense and now we're going to have some time to breath and start projecting for Fantasy Surfer with a $50,000,000 cash limit. This variable brings different strategies to the table and we will now have 3 events to compare and start to make some solid projections.

You can get on our clubhouse and see if you perform better than our projections. Right now I do the picks, there is no computer involved. And I know that I'm a really bad Fantasy Surfer player. Let's see if I can choose the best amongst those super 8.

If you have reached this far I ask you 5 minutes to read about my nephew and support his campaign. I thank you in advance.
