The women’s event at Maui has finished with an astonishing victory of Tyler Wright. It sealed the amazing year she had and the end of the women's season. On the fantasy side we have finished our first season, the results we had made us proud.

The goal we had in mind was to build several versions of a calculation and have them all playing against each other to decide the best. Each version was built during the season of 2016 and that gave us a solid ground to reach great numbers in terms of fantasy prediction. All versions are packed and the best calculations start to show consistency, it’s time to plan and get prepared to have a solid 2017 season.

You can check all the results of our calculations on the women’s side. The best one has made solid picks for all events. The curiosity about it is that our winner had no best pick in any event, although it always had a high standard. Winning an event in fantasy might not get you in high positions by the end of the year, but playing with consistency will.

How would our models be ranked if they were real players in the women's fantasy game? That is a great comparison to have an eye on, here you can check the overall position of the players and where our versions would be ranked.

Overall position on WSL Fantasy

Here comes our best version. V1.8 has achieved 2811.40 points in the whole season.

Amongst 10 to 50 we have two version. Both nearer the 10th spot. V1.7 with 2793.64 and v1.5 with 2760.35

V1.4 got 2716.21 and reached the top 100 spot

V1.1 got 2561.97 and v1.3 reached 2560.74. Know we start to see the positions of our worst versions.

1,000º Byrd151: 2538.62

Last but not least, V1.2 got 2520.63 and received the worst version prize

  • 5,000º vahi: 2122.02

Being very specific, our best calculation would have finished the event at 7º and our worst calculation at 1157º. We are very proud about the achievements, there was no plan to reach this far at the start of 2016. The middle of the season was a turning point, as we started to forecast that great calculation models were coming. Version 1.x is ready and steady, at next season only the best calculations will make predictions. And we are heading to build a 2.0 version.

Heads up to the women's 2017 season!
