Only 50 kilometers North-West of Lisbon, Ericeira is there, waiting for you. Magnificence of this 7 kilometers of Atlantic coast, is the massive variety of spots you can find: more than 10 top class spots are not easy to find everywhere else in the World! Ericeira is well considered for this the centre of Portuguese surfing. Choosing will be your unique problem in Ericeira. Perfect reefs for advanced or pro-surfers only, like Backdoor, Cave, Coxos, Maladinha, Pedra Branca, Praia do Norte, Ribeira D’Ihas and Reef. Dont’ worry: beach breaks, open to all-level surfers, like Foz do Lisandro, Praia do Sul, Sao Juliao and Sao Lourenco will host less experienced. Spots conditions are different by the day, and Ericeira picks up any swell going in the Atlantic. All the breaks usually work with East or even South-East winds. Ericeira will give you what you want almost every time of the year, but Autumn is always a winning bet.
