Both @sintaxi and I will be presenting how we’re building Surge.sh at the amazing JS.LA meetup in Los Angeles, September 24th at 7:00pm.

The event is sold out, but we’ll be attending Drinks.js afterwards if you’re in the area. We’d really like to say hi!

We don’t need no stinkin’ browsers

Surge makes it easy to get your project live in a browser as quickly as possible — but you don’t actually need to use a browser to make this happen. In our talk, we’ll show you how npm, Surge, and other tools can make software-as-a-service possible entirely through the CLI, using Node.js.

While both of us have been doing a fair amount of speaking, this will be our first talk as co-presenters. Of course, we’ll also have some Surge stickers to give away.

If you’re looking for speakers at future event or have questions about Surge, feel free to mention @surge_sh on Twitter or send me an email.
