An Unreal surprise when subscription ends

Richard enjoys making games as a hobby. He subscribed to Unreal Engine game development engine for $20 a month. It’s some of the best software in the business. Dreaming of using it to make a game, he hesitated for 2 months before hitting the cancel subscription button. To his surprise, he still had full access to the software, even after unsubscribing.

Instead of blocking the entire software, Unreal let Richard keep using it, knowing it’ll increase the chances of him becoming a customer again when he want’s access to the newest features.
