Book Review Series -1: Sarah Brayne

Our April book review series features Sarah Brayne, the author of Predict and Surveil: Data, Discretion, and the Future of Policing (Oxford University Press) and the winner of the surveillance studies network’s 2021 book award. Sarah is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at The University of Texas at Austin. The discussion is hosted by Bryce Newell. Bryce is an assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon and a co-director of the Surveillance Studies Network.
