OST⍺3 Weekly Update #3 — Surwei

Surwei progress continues to run smoothly and with the work this week almost all functionalities are completed. Take a look and read on 👀

1. Progress done

This week has been about completing the basic functionality and integration with OST Kit API. You can now select the type of input (text, text area or dropdown with options), define the amount of SWEI reward for each reply, preview the survey visually and view a complete list of all the replies.

On the backend for each survey created 5 SWEI’s are debited from the user’s account and for each completed survey the specified reward is transferred along with a 1% fee that it’s taken by Surwei for further development.

2. Lessons learned and issues

The creation of the reward and debit actions was very straight forward and the implementation was also easy. The only two minor issues that were not clear on the documentation were that transactions can’t have the same from and to id’s and the amount can’t be 0 (but both are obviously a product of testing the application locally).

3. Plans for next week

Looking to visually clean the platform, thoroughly test it while performing multiple transactions and prepare the final demo video.
