In an ideal world, the label “eco-friendly” would be a sign of genuine commitment to protecting our planet. It would mean companies making ethical choices about materials, minimizing their environmental footprint, and operating as responsible members of a global community.

Unfortunately, the reality is far more complex, and that feel-good label has become a powerful marketing weapon even for some of the worst offenders.
