The energy sources we are currently using are awful for the environment. A couple things wrong with fossil fuels are the fact that they will not be around forever and they are going to negatively impact the climate for our future generations. Fossil fuels are the main reason for climate change in the world. Climate change has already taken its toll on some parts of the world and will continue to wreak havoc as long as long as we continue to rely on fossil fuels to power the world.

So what if we do nothing? What if we keep relying on fossil fuels and don’t think about making a change? We don’t know exactly how much the Earth can take but we do know it can’t go on like this forever and mother nature has already began to show the ill effects caused by climate related disasters. One thing is for sure, climate related disasters will put many people out of work and will physically destroy people’s place of work completely.

Disasters like droughts, earthquakes and hurricanes have already been seen throughout the world as a result of climate change. Risk of diseases like Zika and Malaria have increased due to warm weather and the World Health Organization predicts that between the years 2030–2050, climate change will be responsible for about 250,000 deaths per year. That could have an impact on many businesses by depleting the workforce with so many more deaths predicted.

With all this death and destruction already taking place, it is evident something needs to be done and the workplace is just one area that will suffer if nothing is done.
