In April 2018 a giving.sg campaign was launched to raise funds for an Alumni Endowment Fund.
What: This endowment fund will have a yearly payout which is managed by SUTD Alumni (through the soon to be formed Association).
Why: The purpose of this fund is to grow the Alumni Community and drive initiatives which value-add to Alumni and Students.
Awesome facts of this campaign:
- There will be a 1:1 matching donation by MOE for all donations raised which will go into financial aid for students.
- A donor has pledged to donate $25,000 to the fund if the Alumni manages to raise $25,000. (we are now at $10K with only 40 more days!)
- There is a tax exemption of 2.5X for all donations.
This is truly a great opportunity to start. Let’s scale our impact as a community together!
