Suterusu Foundation Announcement for Private Sale Investors

After 24 hours of voting by the Suterusu community across the network: 17.3% of users voted for Option 1, while 82.7% voted for Option 2, which is one-time full unlocking for PE investors. The foundation respects the decision of the community and investors, after the end of the public announcement period, the nominator nodes will be unlocked at a time, totaling 1.6 billion Suter Tokens. The unlocked nominator node tokens will account for 44.12% of the total circulation after unlocking.

After unlocking, there are a total of 3.626 billion tokens in circulation in the entire Suter network, and the remaining tokens are still generated through mining. After the nominator node is unlocked, 2.059 billion tokens out of the total circulation of 3.626 billion tokens will participate in mining, while the team and foundation tokens will not participate in mining. So far, the tokens of the team and foundation are the only locked tokens in the Suter network, with a number of 800 million, which will be unlocked at the end of 2022 as originally planned.

First of all, we’d like to show enormous gratitude to the users who participated in the voting for their support. Especially the users who have been participating in Suter POS staking for more than a year and have obtained more than 60% of the mining rewards based on the token-based calculation. The support of these users guarantees a smooth transition from the testnet to the mainnet. At present, Suter Shield, as the first application product of the Suterusu network, has gained more than 500 users, hundreds of transactions, and a growing fee pool within 72 hours since it’s launched. In the future, it will be used to incentivize new staking models to grow the network. At present, some community KOL users have stated that they will continue to support Pos node operations and will always participate in various forms of nodes to support network growth. We have expectations for the future and will work harder to grow Suter Shield, as the first in the industry to achieve a trustless presets privacy payment network. In addition to ERC-20 tokens, we will cover mainstream ecosystems such as Huobi Heco, Binance Smart Chain, and Tron. We will strive to catch up with Tornado Cash and other projects within one year and to be the top in the industry in terms of utilization rate and fee pool.
