Suterusu implements the world’s first setup-free ZKP, releases open-source code.

We are thrilled to announce that our test network, Suter Mirage Chain, has officially launched. Participants can experience confidential transactions based on the world’s first ZKP protocol. Suter Mirage Chain consists of zk-ConSNARK library, Suter chain, and client. These have a zk-ConSNARK library that is a zero-knowledge proof protocol. It’s designed for supporting smart contracts and is compatible with existing mainstream public blockchains. zk-ConSNARK can provide the relevant proof for amounts, and user identity of related confidential transactions, based on amount balance functions, and scope proof.

For the first time in the world, zk-ConSNARK realizes the ZKP without trusted setups. Compared with Zcash and other schemes that need a trusted setup, security is greatly improved.

Suter Chain is developed based on Substrate. Suter Mirage Chain now has open-source code. We’ve also launched a test net named “Mirage Piloteer”, which invites friends from the blockchain industry to send confidential transactions through Suter Mirage Chain, leaving messages in the community and getting incentives.
