Trivandrum is home to a cool IT park called Technopark. Amidst this huge IT park resides an awesome startup called CareStack, previously known as Good Methods Global.
CareStack is an Accel partner funded startup who were also the initial investors of Facebook.
CareStack is on a mission to empower healthcare providers and businesses to have greater control over their fiscal health and business management using technology. Carestack is a powerful practice management solution on the cloud for growing dental practices.
They are organising a healthcare based hackathon called CAREHACK.
The winners of CareHack will get Rs 1,00,000 and shortlisted team members will get an opportunity Intern/ Work with the Carestack team.

CareHack will enable students and product engineers to bring their creative ideas to life, enhance patient experience and enable smarter business operations for healthcare institutions.
Its a 2 -day hackathon where you can build a web/mobile app based on a concept / idea you have on healthcare (including wellness, retail healthcare, fitness, etc). Even if you can’t think of an idea right away, that’s fine. CareStack team has a pool of problem statements currently faced by patients and healthcare businesses across the globe, based on their extensive experience in the industry. You can pick one of that and build an idea on it. In any case, a team of healthcare experts and experienced developers will be available for you to approach and help you build a product at the Hackathon.
SV.CO believes such events will help students to get industry exposure and evaluate their skills in a competitive way. Students get a good chance to reflect on their work and progress further in life.
