When we launched Startup Village Collective as an online platform for engineering students to build startups while they are still in college we had a basic programme framework in place and a bunch of college teams who were enthusiastic about building a startup.

6 months later

We observed something unique and has been on of our biggest learning till date. The teams took multiple routes after the program. We saw 5 different graduation outcomes coming into existence.

a) Getting funded: Few startups were funded by Govt of Kerala, Investors with small amounts to continue shaping their products.

b) Getting into an Accelerator: SV.CO startups were accepted into accelerators like Zone startups, Draper University etc

c) Get Acqui-Hired: One team was acqui-hired by tally and have been doing phenomenal work at Tally since a year. Watch video here

d) Get a Job: SV.CO startup founders became hotcake talent for many startups like OLA, Good Methods Global, Tally, Freshworks and more.

e) Go for Higher education: Students used the experience of SV.CO to get recommendations for MS/MBA in reputed universities across the world.
