During last week, the NoiseCrunch team has continued to work with the customer side of the business canvas model. We have decided to be even more specific with our customer segments and have reduced it to the following segments:
• Restaurants
• Open offices
The team believe that there are several other industries who is in need of the technology, but we believe that the selected segments is the most overt customers, based on several interviews.

In the feedback last week, one of the suggestion was to be even more specific with our customer segment e.g. specific age, gender etc. Yet, after some discussion is it not our impression that noisy environments has a greater influence on some specific age groups or genders over others. For this reason, we consider our current customers as all genders and ages with relation to one of the customer segments above. Our primary markets are US, Canada and EU.

During the week, we have also reached out to an insurance broker and a professor in acoustic, where we have discovered some new and interesting perspective of our business model.

Another part of the feedback we received last week from was related to the strength of our value propositions. Consequently, we have decided to renew our VP to the following:

Sound masking or cancellation can improve productivity by up to 38%, reduce stress by 27% and increase job satisfaction by up to 174% according to Harvard business review
2. Lack of sound privacy is the biggest frustration at open offices according to Harvard business review
3. Noisy environment cost companies $587 billion according to Basex

We consider our new VPs as some very strong “sell points”, but will continue our work in this area.

Finally, we have streamlined our channels and revenue streams. A new BCM is attached below.

In the coming week we will continue our work with: VPs, collection of facts, competitor analysis, customer interviews and further understanding of the technology behind noise masking and noise cancellation.
