If we are to believe recent studies done among youths and young adults, it is inevitably clear that we have entered a trend of social isolation caused by the increased use of social media.

An article written by Psychology Today stresses the fact that “there is scientific evidence that suggests social media use is bad for your psychological health. Some results show that people feel lonelier — and experience drops in self-esteem — after using Facebook.”

Well, even if we can always discuss the outcome of all studies and researching done on the matter we should agree on the clear fact that social media has come to stay, and perhaps it is not a relevant issue anymore of how it makes us feel when we use it, but rather how we use it.

“The fundamental question that researchers have been asking is this: Does using social media make you lonely?” But it now seems we’ve been asking the wrong question”. — Psychology Today.

Taking into account that the modern internet user has an average of 7 Social Media Accounts, a daily media consumption of up to 8 hours a day but at the same time express a significant lack of trust in social media, we are certain that here will be a growing demand for platforms where users can avoid scams, fake profiles, unnecessary chat facilities and automatic bots fooling them.

SVPER was created by a team of highly experienced individuals in the Social Networking Industry. The idea was to create an app that defeats offline loneliness, and goes back to the basics of connecting people. For real.

The project started in 2017, by taking into consideration the absolute necessity of a media platform that encourages people to connect in real life.

The CEO & CO-Founder of SVPER, Jean-Babtiste Fort, launched his first company at the age of just 21 in the Online Dating and Social Network Industry and he and he soon began to collaborate with key media organizations (such as AOL, Skyrock and Diligo).

His concern regarding the industry of today is simple;

“A lot seems fake. Because a lot is actually fake”.

His experience is that people do not make the effort anymore to connect in real life, and often hide behind edited profile pictures, misleading introductions, and fake motives when chatting online.

“SVPER will be the next generation of Social Media. The users can be certain that the people they are talking to via the app are real, and will have a transparent relationship with the app community, as all communication is done via instant video messaging. No texts, No pictures, No bots, No fake.”

The app runs on a tokenized economy, and will not only make it attractive to use because of its high security based on the Blockchain, but users will be rewarded with SVP-Tokens when actually meeting up.

“This way, it’s REAL. It’s fun. And the meeting is based on what makes a real meeting interesting, the contact between two people. Two real people.”

The SVPER app is set to launch in the end of November, after the public crowdsale the 17th of September to 30th of November.
