Leyland Kirby is ‘The Caretaker’, also, V/Vm.

He does beautiful things to air and electricity — as the experimental project V/Vm.

As ‘The Caretaker’ making ‘The Shining’ ballroom inspired dark ambient and long pieces about brain function and memory.

To mark his fortieth birthday, on the 11th of May, he released ‘We drink to forget the coming storm’. It was free for forty days and nights, after which you could purchase it for, “the price of a birthday whiskey”. Though it appears to be no longer on the bandcamp, just in case you missed it, here it is.
