Many have asked what lies ahead for SwapMatic — or at least, what is the plan. Some key ideas and initiatives for 2021 and beyond are outlined here.

Marketplace for Projects — The Core Business
The core business of SwapMatic is to provide visibility and trading place for Polygon (Matic) based blockchain and token projects. SwapMatic helps projects build following and get showcased. Farming tokens in SwapMatic for SWAM is a great opportunity for any project, especially for those who do not have a yield farming program of their own.
Swapdog.io
SwapMatic started as Uniswap v1 implementation in very early days of Matic Network mainnet; it was the first AMM or DEX on Matic. To preserve that legacy and v1 liquidity pools, the original SwapMatic was assigned to Swapdog — now to be found in https://swapdog.io.

SWAM Liquidity Mining
SwapMatic has a long-term commitment to reward liquidity providers. The model is linear and comprehensive: every new contribution to SwapMatic or SWAM token liquidity pools yields 100% or more APR calculated on the daily rate.
Farming takes place in XYZ-MATIC pools in Swapdog.io and SWAM-XYZ pools in 3rd party exchanges like QuickSwap or Dfyn. All farmed SWAM is claimable in blocktimeworld.com.
The program goes on until 80m SWAM tokens are distributed. This program’s exceptional feature is that the pooler does not need to stake LP tokens, and rewards are distributed daily.

SWAM Token Listings
SWAM token will be listed in crucial market information services (CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap) during 2021. Right now the best market information on SWAM price can be found here.
Airdrops
SwapMatic is not in an airdropping business! It is our understanding that reckless airdropping is a way to dilute the value of a project and its utility asset — unless one is an established giant with a significant footprint (like Uniswap).
However, with SwapMatic there are two exceptions:
- Small and very targeted SWAM drops to select communities onboarded to SwapMatic, like the distribution of 107 SWAM to KIWI Wallet users.
- Celebratory drops and extra thank-you rewards to early adopters and long-term poolers.
- Special drops and bonuses to Swapman NFT holders (see below).
Other L2 Chains
Polygon is the home base for SwapMatic (remember “Matic”?), but SwapMatic and SWAM is already ‘techncally’ present and mapped in Ethereum Mainnet and Binance Smart Chain. However, there is no reason why we should ignore other sidechains in the EVM ecosystem — there is great potential to be found in emerging new L2 EMV chains.
Q3-Q4 is time of exploration of and expansion to other L2 chains.
Market Aggregator
As DeFi on L2 chains develops, so do market needs and opportunities. Q2/2021 we introduced a 0x protocol based SwapMatic market aggregator that finds the best prices from various markets and DeFi services.
Features of the aggregator are:
- Aggregates three leading chains: Polygon (default), BSC, and Ethereum mainnet using dozens of underlying liquidity sources. More chains to be added in 2022.
- Credit card-to-crypto gateway,
- Competitive (!) zero fees,
- SwapMatic-specific token list, can be also used in QuickSwap, Sushi, Dfyn, etc.
- Overall ease of use for technical and non-technical users alike.
